Rangmanch” means stage — and that is exactly what this space is for a leading global software company’s Noida campus. It is a flagship auditorium designed to flex from all-hands and town-halls to product launches, cultural performances and broadcast events, all in one room.

3CDN Workplace Tech served as the audio-visual and workplace technology design consultant, led by Managing Director Mradul Sharma. We authored the AV systems design, schematics and bill of quantities, translating the client’s standards into a buildable, broadcast-grade design.

The signature is a cinematic 13.2-metre, 32:9 LED canvas, backed by a five-camera broadcast production chain, native Microsoft Teams hybrid capability and live-event audio. The intent was simple: give the company a single, flexible stage that performs as convincingly for a remote audience as for the people in the room.

Client Requirement & Design Challenge

Background. The campus needed one space that could do the work of many. Rather than a fixed-seat theatre, the brief called for a flat-floor hall with flexible seating — able to host a stand-up town-hall one day, a seated launch the next, and a cultural performance after that — while broadcasting any of them to the company’s locations worldwide.

What the client wanted

  • One space, many modes: town-halls, launches, performances and hybrid broadcasts — without reconfiguring the technology.
  • Broadcast quality: multi-camera capture, live production switching and recording, so events look and sound professionally produced.
  • Global hybrid reach: native Microsoft Teams so remote employees join and watch as first-class participants.
  • An effortless presenter experience: confidence monitors, annotation, and professional timing and cueing for speakers on stage.

The design challenge

  • A cinematic canvas, done right: a 13.2-metre 32:9 LED wall demands careful processing so presenters, content and remote video can share the surface cleanly.
  • Broadcast in a corporate room: production-grade cameras, switching and audio had to be engineered into a workplace auditorium, not a TV studio.
  • Audio in a large, flexible hall: intelligible speech and event-grade sound across a wide, hard-surfaced space with no fixed seating.
  • Operable by many hands: the system had to be driven by AV technicians and non-technical staff alike, for events large and small.

Solution & Technology Approach

3CDN designed a broadcast-grade auditorium around one idea: a flexible stage that performs equally for the room and the remote audience. The approach was led by principle, not product.

3CDN’s design philosophy

Compliance to global standards — designed to the client’s worldwide AV standards, so the space aligns with the wider estate.

Coordination — AV designed in step with architecture, acoustics, lighting and staging, so the room as a whole supports the experience.

Less is more — the fewest boxes for the greatest outcome; lean, supportable systems over spectacle for its own sake.

Manageability — designed for the long term, with central control, monitoring and lifecycle as first-class requirements.

Outcome-led — the design serves the event and the people — in the room and online — not any single product or brand.

The systems

  • The LED canvas — a 13.2 × 4.05 m, 32:9, 1.2 mm-pitch DvLED wall forms a cinematic backdrop. A multi-window video processor (twelve inputs) lets the surface carry presenter, content and remote video together, in flexible layouts for any event format.

    • Broadcast & capture: five 4K PTZ cameras with joystick control, a live production switcher, broadcast recording and SDI/HDMI conversion bring in-house, broadcast-quality production to every event.
    • Hybrid & collaboration: a Cisco Codec Pro provisioned as a native Microsoft Teams Room lets town-halls and launches reach employees worldwide as full participants.
    • Presenter experience: confidence monitors, an interactive annotation podium and professional timing and cueing keep speakers confident and events on schedule.
    • Event-grade audio: a wireless microphone ecosystem (headset, lavalier and handheld), line-array loudspeakers with subwoofers, front-fill and stage monitors, DSP and a digital mixer over Dante deliver intelligible speech and concert-grade sound.
    • Signal backbone & control: a 4K AV-over-IP fabric over fibre with managed switching carries every source with low latency, while a unified control system — touch panel, tablet and a custom key-pad — makes the room easy to run for technical and non-technical operators alike.

Technology approach — by solution area

Display & canvas — Large-format 32:9 DvLED videowall with multi-window processor

Cameras & production — 4K PTZ cameras, live production switcher, broadcast recording

Collaboration — Cisco Microsoft Teams Room for hybrid town-halls

Audio — Wireless mics, line-array & subs, DSP and digital mixer over Dante

Signal & network — 4K AV-over-IP over fibre with managed switching

Control — Touch panel, tablet and custom key-pad operation

Presenter tools — Confidence monitors, annotation, timing & cueing

Infrastructure — Fibre backbone, racks and resilient power

Delivery, Outcome & Impact

3CDN's role

As the design consultant, 3CDN owned the design intent and the documentation that made an ambitious, broadcast-grade brief buildable:

  • Authored the AV systems design and full schematics for the auditorium.
  • Produced the broadcast-grade bill of quantities for accurate, transparent procurement.
  • Engineered the broadcast, hybrid and audio systems to a professional, event-ready standard.

Designed to the client’s standards and coordinated with architecture, acoustics and staging

Outcome & impact

  • One stage for everything: all-hands, launches, performances and hybrid broadcasts run in a single, flexible space — no reconfiguration of the technology.
  • Broadcast brought in-house: multi-camera production, switching and recording give the company studio-grade output without an external crew.
  • A global audience: native Microsoft Teams extends every event to employees worldwide as full participants.
  • A presenter-first room: a cinematic canvas, confidence monitoring and professional cueing make speakers look and feel their best.
